Last night, in Livonia, Michigan, the Monaghan Knights Of Columbus Hall hosted Shine 58. This was the first time that Shine had a full show debut in the state of Michigan. Some of the top women in independent wrestling gathered to put on an incredible show and the fans were not disappointed.
The event featured such stars as Mercedes Martinez, Kimber Lee, Su Yung and Shine Nova Champion Aja Perera. Two championships were on the line last night. Perera defended her championship against Shotzi Blackheart. It was a hard-fought battle, but the champion succumbed to Blackheart via pinfall and Shotzi became the new Nova Champion.
Shine Tag Team Champions Rainbow Bright – the team of Luscious Latasha and Gabby Gilbert – defended their belts against Twisted Sisterz, – who are comprised of Thunder Rosa and Holidead – in a Lumber Jills match. The Tag Team Champions retained their belts when Latasha pinned Holidead via interference from Santana Garrett.
