Shotzi Blackheart issues an open challenge for RISE: Pride & Joy

Shotzi Blackheart has issued a Global Open Challenge for the Sabotage Wrestling War of Genders Championship. She will be waiting for a response at RISE: Pride & Joy next month.

“The Daddy from the Black Lagoon” became the inaugural War of the Genders Champion in January at the third annual War of the Genders event in Irving, Texas. She won the vacant title in a six-pack challenge against Nikki Knight, Thunder Rosa, Fuego Del Sol, GPA, and Kody Lane.

The championship was created to promote equality in wrestling. The title can be challenged for, won, and defended by any gender. In that regard, Pride & Joy is an ideal place to promote the prize and its progressive message.

RISE Wrestling will host Pride & Joy on Jun. 30, the same day as the Chicago Pride Parade. It’s one of the largest Pride Parades worldwide. As such, the independent women’s wrestling promotion wanted to use this opportunity to host an event open to the LGBTQ+ Community in the city.

The show is billed as “The Pro Wrestling’s Ultimate Event of Love and Inclusion.” If the idea is to spread the message that wrestling is for everyone, then there isn’t a better venue to defend the War of Genders Championship.

Rise: Pride & Joy is an age-appropriate show, so you must be 21 or up to enter. The event will take place at the Logan Square Auditorium in Chicago, IL at 5 pm CST. For those who can’t attend it will also stream live on Fite TV.

Drop a comment below if you plan on attending and check back with Bell to Belles for more information.
