According to the official WWE Twitter account, NXT will bring its TakeOver event back to the United Kingdom with NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff.

The announcement came on the heels of the finish to Io Shirai vs Shayna Baszler during NXT TakeOver XXV.

The new TakeOver will take place in Cardiff, the capital city of Wales. The show will begin streaming at 3 p.m. EST/8 p.m. GMT on August 31. Match announcements have yet to be made for this event.

The show will make August 31 one of the biggest days of the wrestling year. NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff will take place just hours before All Elite Wrestling’s “All Out”. The coincidence of the scheduling isn’t lost on most fans.

Fans and wrestlers alike are excited for the second TakeOver of the Black Brand, after the first NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool was incredibly well-received.
