Raw Women’s Championship match set for Stomping Grounds

WWE revealed Lacey Evans will get a rematch for the Raw Women’s Championship at Stomping Grounds. The match was announced today during Super ShowDown.

Evans faced Becky Lynch last month at Money in the Bank, but after she cost The Man the SmackDown Women’s Championship fans knew their feud was far from over. Lynch confirmed it this week when she called her out on Raw and interrupted her match with Charlotte Flair.

The two have been at each other’s throats since Evan sucker punched her on the Raw after WrestleMania. Since the Lady of WWE has established herself as the first challenger for the Raw Women’s Championship.

This will be the second women’s title match on the card. Earlier this week, Alexa Bliss defeated Carmella and Flair to become the number one contender for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. She will face Bayley for the first time since their notorious feud on Raw in 2017.

Stomping Grounds is slated for on Jun. 23 at the Tacoma Dome. This new pay-per-view event will replace Backlash, which conflicted today’s event in Jeddah.

What do you think? Should Lacey Evan get another title shot this soon, without winning a number one contender’s match.
