Sierra Loxton suffers a serious back injury

Sierra Loxton suffered a back injury this weekend at a Pro Wrestling: Eve event. Her match with Nightshade ended in a no contest after she took a scary bump.

The next day Loxton confirmed she broke a bone in her lumbar vertebrae, a section that consists of five individual bones that form the spine in the lower back. These vertebrae are vital, because they carry all the weight of the upper body while providing dexterity and movement to the hips.

The 21-year-old Welsh wrestler revealed she will need surgery, and she will be forced to sit out for a significant amount of time. It’s unclear when she will return to the ring.

In response, her friend, Chris Roberts, started a GoFundMe campaign to raise money to provide Loxton some income while she recuperates.

Wrestling is difficult and physically taxing. Performers routinely put their bodies on the line to entertain us, so it’s never easy to see someone sustain a serious injury like this.

We here are Bell to Belles would like to wish Sierra Loxton a swift recovery and a safe surgery.

We also would like to encourage you to give what you can to her GoFundMe campaign. She could use as much help and well wishes as possible.
