Results from Sendai Girls ‘Big Show’

The Japanese promotion Sendai Girls had their “Big Show” Saturday June 8th in the City Gym in Niigata, Japan. Sendai Girls Pro Wrestling was founded in 2005 by Japanese sensation Meiko Satomura.

When Satomura started the promotion she was the only experienced wrestler on the roster. She took on the role of trainer and booker along with her role as the headline wrestler. Over the years Sendai Girls has featured some of the best wrestlers in Japan, as well as all over the globe.

During Saturday’s event all four championships were on the line, including The Sendai Girls World Title, the W.W.W.D World Title (Diana promotion), the Sendai Girls Junior Title (vacant at the time), and the Sendai Girls World Tag Team Titles. Two of the four championships changed hands.

The main event of the show featured Sendai Girls World Champion Chihiro Hashimoto vs. W.W.W.D World Champion Sareee with both titles on the line.

Mikoto Shindo defeated Manami via pinfall to win the vacant Junior Title. The title became vacant when previous champion Command Bolshoi retired from in-ring action this past April.

Tag Champions Millie McKenzie and Charli Evans defeated DASH Chisako and Hiroyo Matsumoto when McKenzie pinned DASH.

Aiger defeated Sakura Hirota.

Meiko Satomura and Mika Iwata defeated Aja Kong and Yuu when Satomura pinned Kong after the Scorpio Rising.

Sareee defeated Chihiro Hashimoto to win the Sendai Girls World Title. Saree now holds both the Sendai Girls World Title and W.W.W.D World Title.

Hikaru Shida, Mei Suruga, and Hyan defeated KAORU, Heidi Katrina, and Alex Lee when Shida pinned Lee with the Three Count of the Soul.

After the completion of the main event, Mika Iwata came to the ring to challenge Sareee for a future title shot.
