Kylie Rae has been noticeably missing on the last few AEW shows since Double or Nothing.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Kylie Rae has been “dealing with a medical issue”. AEW appears to be keeping it quiet, so no further details have been released. However, she is expected to return soon.
Rae participated in the first AEW women’s match at Double or Nothing along with Britt Baker, Nyla Rose, and surprise entrant Awesome Kong. She hasn’t appeared for the promotion since.
Even more, she was originally scheduled to wrestle Leva Bates at Fyter Fest on The Buy-In. She was later replaced by Allie.
Rae hasn’t made an in-ring appearance since June, and apparently, she has been pulled from several planned bookings. Recently, Cross Body Pro Wrestling Academy announced that she wouldn’t be able to perform at their event on Aug. 17, and she is no longer accepting bookings.
This is unfortunate news coming on the heels of the revelation that Britt Baker suffered a concussion last weekend at Fight for the Fallen. Both Baker and Kylie Rae are the promotion’s top signees.
Hopefully, this is nothing serious and Kylie Rae will be back in time for the launch AEW’s weekly show later this year. Be sure to check back with Bell to Belles for any updates on this ongoing story.
