6. Sasha Banks vs. Alexa Bliss – 2017

Alexa Bliss had a stranglehold on the Raw women’s division for most of 2017. She became the Raw Women’s Champion during a humiliating feud with Bayley. The former champion was supposed to face Bliss at SummerSlam but she, unfortunately, separated her shoulder.

In her absence, her best friend, Sasha Banks, earned an opportunity to challenge Alexa. These two women have a highly-publicized beef. It’s hard to tell how much of it is a work or if they genuinely don’t like each other. Whatever the case, their tension added so much drama to this match.

Alexa took control early on with a straight punch and kept it deep into the bout. Banks came firing back and forced Bliss to roll out of the ring to avoid a loss via submission.

Later, the self-proclaimed “Goddess of WWE” dumped Banks out of the ring on to her shoulder. Then she viciously targeted the joint for the rest of the match. The champion looked to retain but the “Boss” kicked out, following a Twisted Bliss.

Banks ultimately executed a wrist toss and locked in the Bank Statement to become a four-time Raw Women’s Champion. It was a solid match and a satisfying finish.
