According to Squared Circle Sirens, former WOW World Champion Santana Garrett signed a developmental contract with WWE.

Garrett has made a big name for herself in indie wrestling over the last 10 years. She debuted in 2009 for Coastal Championship Wrestling. Since she has worked with TNA (now known as IMPACT), Shimmer, OVW, WOW, Global Force, Shine, BEW, and Stardom.

Moreover, Garrett has been crowned a champion nearly everywhere she has wrestled. She was a two-time CCW Ladies Champion, NWA World Women’s Champion, Shine Champion, a Shine Tag Team Champion, WOW World Champion, a WOW Tag Team Championship, and Wonder of Stardom Championship.

That’s just a few of the stellar accomplishments on her resume, making Garrett one of the most decorated women in wrestling.

Of course, Santana Garrett has worked with WWE in the past, making several appearances on NXT over the last few years. She has wrestled matches with a who’s who list of NXT alumni including Asuka, Emma, Billie Kay, Dakota Kai, and Sarah Logan.

In addition, she was a participant in the first Mae Young Classic, where she was eliminated in the first round by Piper Niven.

This could be a huge acquisition for WWE. Her experience and in-ring ability would add so much to a strong NXT roster.
