Britt Baker announces she’s cleared following concussion

Last month, Britt Baker suffered a concussion during her match at Fight for the Fallen. Today, the AEW wrestler revealed she is cleared to return to in-ring action.

Earlier, Baker shared a picture of herself and AEW’s head physician, Dr. Michael Sampson, with the caption “CLEARED and ready to win this Casino Battle Royale at All Out.” This is great news for Britt and All Elite Wrestling.

Brandi Rhodes announced the women’s Casino Battle Royal will take place during the preshow for the promotion’s new event, All Out. Baker will join 20 other entrants in the match to determine the first contender for the inaugural AEW World Women’s Championship.

Teal Piper, Ivelisse, Jazz, Nyla Rose, Yuka Sakazaki, Allie, and Brandi Rhodes will also participate in the battle royal. There is no confirmation on the status of Kylie Rae yet.

AEW will also unveil the championship belt at the event in preparation for a match for the vacant title on their televised debut on TNT in October.

In other news, Joshi standout, Riho, will also take on Hikaru Shida in a one-on-one match at the event. This is shaping up to be a highly anticipated show that will have a lasting impact on the AEW’s women’s division.

All Out will take place on Saturday, Aug. 31 at the Sears Centre in Chicago, Illinois. The event will be available on B/R Live.
