Veteran Daffney is dealing with what could be a very serious health issue. She posted on her Instagram that she has been dealing with numbness in her left hand which escalated to severe pain in her wrist and forearm. The pain continued to her temple, neck, collarbone and trapezius muscle she went to see her physician.
The former WCW and TNA star was diagnosed with what appears to be a cyst or growth next to her T1 vertebra of her neck. The doctor has prescribed her steroids, anti-inflammatory medicine and resting arm that is experiencing the pain and numbness.
This is not the first time Daffney has dealt with neck issues. Two and a half years ago she had surgery on her neck were a metal plate was inserted between her C4 and C5 vertebrae. Thankfully, she made a full recovery and a return to the ring after the surgery.
Nagging neck issues are a severe and common injury experienced by professional wrestlers, many times leading to forced retirement such as in the case of Paige and Edge. Hopefully, Daffney will not need to have another surgery on her neck, which would result in more time away from the ring.
We wish “The Scream Queen of Sports Entertainment” a speedy recovery and hope to see her back in the ring very soon.
