All Elite Wrestling (AEW) announced Sadie Gibbs will make her anticipated debut with the promotion as an entrant in the Women’s Casino Battle Royale.
Gibbs reportedly signed with AEW back in March, but they didn’t confirm it until a few months later when they aired a vignette at Double or Nothing.
The 27-year-old wrestler nicknamed “The Amazing Grace” made a name for herself working with UK indie promotions like Pro Wrestling: EVE. She competed in Japan for their affiliate Stardom back in January.
While she was there, she worked with Mayu Iwatani, Utami Hayashishita, and Jungle Kyona. In that short amount of time, she managed to dazzle the Japanese crowd with her athleticism and the Sasuke Special.
Gibbs is still a relative newcomer, having made her debut in 2017. However, she has a strong background in gymnastics, track and field, and Crossfit.
Sadie Gibbs will join Big Swole, Britt Baker, Teal Piper, Ivelisse, Jazz, Nyla Rose, Yuka Sakazaki, Allie, and Brandi Rhodes in the Women’s Casino Battle Royale is just less than two weeks at All Out.
The match to determine the first contender for the inaugural AEW World Women’s Championship with take place on the preshow, The Buy-In. All Out will stream live on B/R Live on Saturday, Aug. 31.
