Hikaru Shida vs. Riho will reportedly have an added stipulation

Last week, AEW announced Riho will take on Hikaru Shida at All Out next weekend. Well, rumor has it the match could have an added stipulation with big implications.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the winner of their match will face the winner of the Casino Battle Royale to crown the first women’s champion.

As we reported, the match for the vacant AEW Women’s World Championship will take place on their debut on TNT on Oct. 2. The Women’s Casino Battle Royale will determine the first contender for the new title, but it is unclear who would be their opponent.

This report seems to clear up that mystery as there aren’t any other women’s matches on the card. Also, this is very similar to the way AEW decided would compete for the world title.

The winner of the first Casino Battle Royale, “Hangman” Adam Page, will take on Chris Jericho, who defeated Kenny Omega to become a number one contender.

AEW hasn’t made an official announcement yet, but this may not be far off. Hikaru Shida vs. Riho is one of the most intriguing matches on the show. This stipulation could add even more interest to it.
