5. Kylie Rae vs. Hyan – Ladies Night Out

Ladies Night Out is a quarterly event hosted by Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling with Title Match Wrestling Network. At the first show, tagged as an “All-Women’s Invitational,” Kylie Rae took on her former training partner and rival, Hyan.

Hyan unsuccessfully challenged the three-time ROW Diamonds Division Champion in the month prior. The story of this match was just how well these two women knew each other.

After the initial collar and elbow tie-up, Kylie started off aggressive, but the challenger was crafty.

 At one point, she grabbed the referee and used him as a shield to avoid a missile dropkick from the top rope. Later, Hyan countered the champion’s signature superkick combo and rolled her up for a near fall.

This forced Kylie to adjust and roll in from the outside to execute her signature move. Rae nearly forced Hyan to tap out with a crossface, which she calls the Charity Case. However, she made it to the ropes.

When she tried to force her to submit again, Hyan locked in a crossface of her own. In a stunning finish, the challenger nailed Rae with a sit-out facebuster to win the title.

Even though she lost, this match was a great example of Kylie Rae’s ingenuity and ability to tell a great story.
