1. Kimber Lee vs. Kylie Rae – AAW Unstoppable 2018

The main event of AAW Unstoppable is arguably the biggest win of Kylie Rae’s career. It’s also a perfect illustration of who she is as a character and why she’s so popular.

Last November, Kylie challenged Kimber Lee for the AAW Women’s Championship at the Logan Square Auditorium in Chicago.

She started off just as playful and confident as usual. When Lee hit her square in the jaw with a straight right hand, it turned into a brawl.

The champion took control after a stiff roundhouse and German suplex, but Rae answered with a reversal and a tope suicida.

Kylie makes such a great babyface because she can take a load of punishment and dish it back out. She doesn’t shrink under pressure; she responds with fire and heart.

Every time Kimber Lee tried to intimidate her Rae match her intensity. When she tried to fight dirty, Kylie found a way to persevere or meet her at her level if she thought it would help her win.

The two brawled out into the crowd. Lee spat beer in Rae’s face, and she immediately jumped up and hit her with a stunner.

The sequence of false finishes towards the end of this match was so good. The best came when Lee tries a senton from the top rope but Kylie rolls into a crucifix pin. The champion narrowly kicked but inevitably lost via submission.
