On the last episode of Raw, the SmackDown Women’s Champion turned heel and aligned herself with Sasha Banks to close the show. On the following day, Bayley and “The Boss” laid out Charlotte to open SmackDown Live.
Lynch and Flair teamed up on the go-home episode before SummerSlam, where Charlotte left her partner hanging. Can they put their differences aside this time to deal with the Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection?
Notably, this will be the first time all four of the Horsewomen will compete in a match together since the Ten Woman Tag Team Elimination Match at Survivor Series 2016.
This is also monumental because next week’s episode of Raw will take place at Madison Square Garden. The show will mark WWE’s return to the venue for the first time in 10 years.
For more historical context, Madison Square Garden infamously had a longstanding ban on women’s wrestling, which was lifted in the early 70s. So, it will be a treat to see four of the biggest female superstars of this generation wrestle there.
