Independent wrestler, Thunder Rosa is transitioning over to mixed martial arts.
She confirmed the news on her Twitter account with the promise of more details to come. Her first fight will take place on Nov. 8 in San Antonio Texas, which is where she has been training.
It’s still unknown which MMA promotion she will fight for but there is speculation it will be Combate Americas. Alberto Del Rio owns the company and Rosa debuted for Del Rios wrestling promotion Nación Lucha Libre earlier this year.
Earlier this year, the controversial Lucha Underground Champion, Sexy Star, competed for Combate Americas and picked up her first win via unanimous decision.
Thunder Rosa is a five-year veteran in the ring and she has wrestled all over the globe. She is most known for her time spent at Lucha Underground where she wrestled under the moniker Kobra Moon. Rosa has also wrestled for WOW, ROH, Shine, and Shimmer to name a few.
