Steph De Lander won the first-ever Melbourne City Wrestling (MCW) Women’s Championship at the Thornbury Theatre in Australia.
The tournament took place over the course of two days. In the first round, De Lander defeated Avery. Then, in the semi-finals she defeated New Zealand wrestler, Candy Lee.
The final round of the Women’s Tournament saw De Lander take on Kellyanne. After a hard-fought battle, “The Python Powerhouse,” defeated Kellyanne and raised the title high above her shoulders as the inaugural MCW Women’s Champion.
Steph De Lander, who previously wrestled under a mask as FaceBrooke, is a three-year veteran in the ring.
Along with MCW, she has also wrestled for Shimmer, RISE, and Venom Pro Wrestling. She held the Venom Pro (VPW) Women’s Championship for 91 days until she dropped the title to Tarlee on Sept. 28.
