Over the weekend, RISE – Developing Tomorrow’s Wrestling Attractions launched the Year One Collection on their YouTube channel.
On Friday night, the Chicago-based promotion released their first year of events for free on YouTube. This will give new fans access to the first eight RISE events.
This comprehensive collection includes individual matches and segments, which are also sorted into playlists. It features over 70 full-length matches with a who’s who list of both legends and up-coming women’s wrestlers.
NXT fans will recognize Chelsea Green, Deonna Purrazzo, Karen Q, MJ Jenkins, Rachael Ellering, Shayna Baszler, and Toni Storm. While AEW fans won’t want to miss early matches featuring Britt Baker and Penelope Ford.
There even appearances from current IMPACT Knockouts like Keira Hogan, Rosemary, and Taya Valkyrie. Even more, there are some hidden gems starring some of the most recognizable independent wrestlers in the world.
Those names include Cheerleader Melissa, Hiroyo Matsumoto, Hudson Envy, Kylie Rae, LuFisto, Mercedes Martinez, Nicole Matthews, Saraya Knight, and Shazza McKenzie. If you want to learn more about NXT’s most recent signee, Shotzi Blackheart is also among the many talented women who worked with RISE.
It’s not an exaggerating to say there’s something here for everyone. Even if you’re new to women’s wrestling, this is a great place to start.
We would highly recommend standout matches like Kylie Rae vs. Deonna Purrazzo, Toni Storm vs. Shotzi Blackheart, Kris Wolf vs. Mercedes Martinez, Shotzi vs. Shayna Baszler, or Kylie vs. Nicole Matthews.
RISE’s full video library is available at riseascent.com or their app, which is available to Apple and Android users. Both options offer an up-to-date archive of all of the promotion’s shows.
The library is also available on their Twitch channel, which is free for Amazon Prime subscribers.
