This Thursday, the new “Women run, Women’s promotion,” Empower Wrestling plans to crown its inaugural champion.
In the main event of their upcoming show, Nicole Savoy will take on Kasey Catal in the finals of their tournament to determine the first Empower Wrestling Champion.
Both contenders earned an opportunity to compete for the title at the promotion’s last event a few weeks ago.
Catal used her infamous kendo stick to gain an advantage over Alex Garcia and advance to the finals. Meanwhile, Savoy forced Diamante to tap out after a hard-fought match to move on as the second finalist.
In addition, The Platinum Hunnies, Ava Everett and Angel Sinclair, defeated Davienne and Christina Marie to become the first Empower Wrestling Tag Team Champion. The entire event is available for free on their YouTube channel.
The new independent women’s wrestling promotion looks to make history again when Nicole Savoy and Kasey Catal go head to head for the Empower Championship.
Empower Wrestling’s next event will take place on Thursday, Oct. 24 at White Eagle Hall in Jersey City, New Jersey.
The event is free and there will also be a simultaneous live stream available on YouTube.
