“Portugal’s Perfect Athlete,” Shanna, is officially a member of AEW’s women’s division. In an exclusive interview with Portuguese media, she revealed that she signed a three-year deal with the company.

Shanna made her debut on this week’s episode of Dynamite, where she competed in a match with Hikaru Shida.

This was also Shida’s first match on the weekly show. Her last appearance was in a one-on-one match with the current AEW Women’s World Champion, Riho, at All Out.

Hikaru picked up the win after a hard-fought match filled with hard strikes and thrilling near falls. However, it was still a great showing for Shanna. She looked impressive even in defeat.

If this performance was anything to go on, she will be a great acquisition for AEW.

Shanna, a 13-year veteran, has worked with Pro Wrestling: EVE, Southside Wrestling Entertainment, Kamikaze Pro, International Pro Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Ulster, Stardom and many other indie promotions.

She is the current ABC Women’s Champion and a former Neo High Speed Champion during her time with Stardom.

We look forward to seeing more Shanna with AEW. Hopefully, she can bolster their women’s division.
