Britt Baker vs. Bea Priestley added to the Buy-In

Tonight, AEW announced that Britt Baker vs. Bea Priestley was added to “The Buy-In” before Full Gear. They made the match official during AEW Dark.

Britt Baker delivered a compelling shoot-style promo where she accused Priestley of being unprofessional. This stems from the concussion that Baker suffered during the “Top Gaijin’s” debut at Fight for the Fallen.

The biggest revelation from the video package was that Priestley never checked in with Baker to see if she was ok. It was a nice touch that added more heat to this rivalry.

The two have been at each other’s throats ever since the tag match in question. Brit lept out of the ring and attacked Priestley on the ramp when she came down to compete in the Women’s Casino Battle Royale at All Out.

“The Mayor of Brittsburgh” eventually eliminated her to become one of the final two in the ring. However, Bea ultimately got the last laugh when she cost Baker the match and a shot at the AEW Women’s World Championship.

At Full Gear, this blood feud will finally come to a head when the two meet in a one-on-one match on “The Buy-In”. This is the first women’s match announced for the card, which is only four days away.

Even more, it’s hard to understand why AEW would relegate such a pivotal match to the preshow. Nevertheless, this should be a good one with future implications for their women’s division.

AEW Full Gear will take place on Saturday, Nov. 9. at the Royal Farm Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. It will be available on B/R Live and Fite.tv internationally.
