On tonight’s episode of SmackDown, WWE revealed three members of the brand’s team for the Women’s Survivor Series Elimination Match.
First, Michael Cole announced that Sasha Banks would be the team captain during her entrance for her match with Nikki Cross. This will be the first time that “The Boss” represents SmackDown at Survivor Series.
Later in the episode, Dana Brooke and Carmella took on Fire & Desire in a tag match for a chance to join Banks on Team SmackDown. Brooke looked impressive in what turned out to be a fun match.
Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose had the upper hand because of their experience together as an established tag team. They used their tandem offense to control the match when Carmella was in the ring.
However, Brooke eventually shifted the tide with a beautiful flip off of the apron into a dropkick, launching Deville into the ring steps. Then, she finished up with a Swanton Bomb to clinch the win and earn a spot on Team SmackDown.
This will be Dana Brooke’s first appearance on pay-per-view card since Money in the Bank earlier this year. In the next two weeks, we will find out who the rest of her teammates will be and who will be their opponents.
Suvivor Series will take place at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois on Sunday, Nov. 24.
