Millie McKenzie wins the 2019 SHE-1 Series

The third annual SHE-1 Series is in the books. Pro Wrestling: EVE has crowned a new Ace of EVE, Millie McKenzie.

The 19-year-old English wrestler competed against Mercedes Martinez and Rhia O’Reilly in the finals.

On the first night, Mercedes Martinez defeated Kasey and Aleah James’ replacement, Mercedez Blaze, to become the first woman to secure four points and clinch her spot in the finals. She picked up another win over “Amazon” Ayesha Raymond, who replaced Angel Hayze, today to win Block A.

Meanwhile, Millie McKenzie won a hard-fought match against Nicole Savoy. But Giselle Shaw forced her to tap out in the opener of the second show.

However, she put Laura Di Matteo away earlier today with a spear to earn two more points. This forced a triple threat match to decide the winner of Block B.

On the fourth—and final—show of the weekend, Shaw, McKenzie, and Di Matteo took part in a tiebreaker for Block B. The Pro-Wrestling: EVE Champion, Rhia O’Reilly distracted Laura Di Matteo, setting up a win for Millie McKenzie.

She joined Martinez and O’Reilly in the finals later in the show. The champion secured four points yesterday after she picked up a surprising win over Jazz in the main event of the second show.

In the finals, Di Matteo came for revenge when she attacked Rhia before the match. “The Fighting Irish” was eventually taken out of the bout, making it a one-on-one fight between Millie McKenzie and Mercedes Martinez.

McKenzie came out on top to win the SHE-1 Series and earn a shot at the title of her choice. Afterward, she said she plans to cash in her opportunity at Wrestle Queendom III with Charli Evans.

The two, known as The Medusa Complex, will challenge The Woke Queens, Valkyrie and Debbie Keitel, for the EVE Tag Team Championship.
