With “The Captain of Team Kick” on the team, Tegan Nox won’t be far behind. They both appear to be a priority to WWE since they returned this year from debilitating knee injuries.
Nox returned to action this summer after she missed about a year with a catastrophic injury, which also forced an early exit from the second annual Mae Young Classic. Since she has made several appearances on NXT and NXT UK.
She made her SmackDown debut as part of the NXT invasion on the Nov. 1 episode in a tag match with Rhea Ripley. The two made quick work Fire and Desire and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see them both on Team NXT this Sunday.
On Friday, Tegan also returned to seek revenge on Bayley and participated in the subsequent eight-woman tag match against four members of Team SmackDown.
It’s highly likely that Nox will make an appearance at Survivor Series because she has been front and center throughout the invasion angle.
If Kai does lead the team, her friend and tag team partner would be the first person she would recruit. Even without that plotline, Tegan Nox seems like an ideal member for Team NXT. Hopefully, this will be another highlight in her comeback story.
