After an entertaining and historic WarGames match, Rhea Ripley picked the other four members of Team NXT for Survivor Series.
Ripley challenged Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair to a captain vs. captain vs. match on SmackDown, revealing herself as team captain for NXT.
The former NXT UK Women’s Champion picked up the win with a crafty pinning maneuver after Flair locked Banks in the Figure Eight.
Tonight, Rhea’s team was shorthanded after Dakota Kai betrayed them and took her best friend Tegan Nox out of the match. However, she and Candice LeRae managed to hand Team Baszler a devastating defeat.
After TakeOver, Ripley joined Triple H on his live Q&A stream to announce the members of Team NXT. LeRae, Io Shirai, Bianca Belair, and Toni Storm will join her as representatives for the brand at Survivor Series.
They will take part in the first-ever Women’s Triple Threat Elimination Match. This will be the first time NXT will appear at the event and they’ve put together a formidable team.
Moreover, they proved they have one of the best collections of talent in wrestling at the moment tonight. Tomorrow, they will test themselves against women from both Raw and SmackDown.
