The Beast becomes WOW World Champion

Tonight, WOW-Women of Wrestling crowned two new champions to cap off their second season.

First, Fire (Kiera Hogan) and Adrenaline (Diamante) took on the Monsters of Madness, Havok (Jessica Havok) and Hazard (Nevaeh), in the finals of the tournament for the vacant WOW Tag Team Championship.

In the end, the real-life couple of Fire and Adrenaline defeated the favorites to become the new champions. The titles have been vacant since 2016.

Amber O’Neal and Santana Garrett were the last team to hold the titles. The former champions hadn’t defended them since their match with Abilene Maverick (Barbi Hayden) and Candice LeRae, in 2013.

After the match, Fire and Adrenaline were attacked by a new stable called Exile, which was led by Malia Hosaka. Afterward, the veteran cut a promo to declare her return to WOW for the first time since she was blacklisted in the early 2000s.

In the main event, Tessa Blanchard defended the WOW World Championship against The Beast. This rivalry has been brewing since the season premiere.

The Beast gained a statement win when she pinned Blanchard to become the new champion. WOW has spoken highly of their homegrown talent and she looks to make an even bigger impact next season as WOW World Champion.
