Shayna Baszler wins Champions Triple Threat at Survivor Series

NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler beat out Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley to win the Champions Triple Threat match at Survivor Series.

After weeks of brand vs. brand vs. brand build, Survivor Series culminated in a main event pitting Baszler, Lynch, and Bayley against each other for brand supremacy bragging rights.

Following a slew of Bayley-to-Bellys and Dis-Arm-Her attempts, Baszler locked in several Kirifuda clutches before finally locking Bayley in one that was too much for the former tag team champ to handle. Bayley tapped out, and Baszler won the match for Team NXT.

After the match, Lynch took out her frustration on Baszler, shouting into the crowd, “This is my f*cking show!”

Team NXT won Survivor Series with four match wins, versus Raw’s one win, and SmackDown’s two wins.

Before the match, commentary mentioned Ronda Rousey suspiciously often, causing the rumors of Rousey’s imminent return to see an uptick. Despite all arrows pointing to her return, Rousey did not make an appearance to help fellow Horsewoman Shayna Baszler.
