RISE Wrestling announced they will hold weekly training seminars called HORIZONS staring next Thursday, Dec. 12.
The Chicago-based promotion made the announcement tonight via Facebook LIVE. HORIZONS will take place every Thursday starting next week.
The seminars will be open to wrestlers from all different experience levels. They will be conducted in Berwyn, Illinois but they’re open to anyone outside of the Chicago area.
HORIZONS won’t just cover the usual material once could expect from the promotion’s regular seminars. They will focus on in-ring training, as well as promos and speaking in front of a camera or live crowd.
Speaking of, RISE will no longer host seminars before their live events. HORIZONS will replace them. In addition, they will eventually become traveling sessions hosted in other venues across the country.
When the seminars take place in Berwyn, RISE plans to allow fans to see a portion of the proceedings. They will stream student matches live on their YouTube channel at 9 p.m. CST. The seminars will also be archived, so you can go back and watch them at your leisure.
HORIZONS gives women’s wrestling fans gives more free content as an incentive to subscribe. Back in October, RISE also launched the Year One Collection, which gave its audience access to their first year of programming for free.
