SHINE will crown a new Nova Champion after the conclusion of a two-night tournament next weekend. The event is necessary because the former champion, Shotzi Blackheart, recently vacated the title as she signed a contract with WWE.

Shotzi held the Nova title for 207 days. On May 10, 2019, she defeated Aja Perrera at SHINE 58.

The two-night tournament will begin on Friday, Dec. 13 in Livonia, Michigan for SHINE 63. On the following night in Chicago, SHINE will crown a new champion when the tournament concludes at 64.

The promotion has announced the following participants will vie for the Nova Championship:

SHINE Tag Team Champion Aja Perera, Candy Cartwright, Kimber Lee, Brandi Lauren, Natalia Markova, Double D’Rose, Marti Belle, Jayme Jameson, Lindsay Snow, Stormie Lee, Avery Taylor, La Rosa Negra, Jenna, Thunderkitty, Notorious Nadi and Randi West.
