Shotzi Blackheart makes NXT debut at all-women’s event

Last night, “The Ballsy Badass,” Shotzi Blackheart made her NXT debut at the all-women’s live event in Jacksonville, Florida.

Back in October, NXT General Manager, William Regal, offered the “The Daddy from the Black Lagoon” a developmental contract at EVOLVE 137. Since she finished up her remaining indie appearances with RISE, SHIMMER, SHINE, Evolve, and a few other promotions.

Blackheart reported to the Performance Center last month alongside Scarlett Bordeaux and Indi Hartwell. Last night, she made her NXT debut in a losing effort against Chelsea Green.

Hartwell also made an appearance in a match with Vanessa Borne. In addition, the card featured Io Shirai vs. Santana Garrett, Kayden Carter vs. Deonna Purrazzo, Bianca Belair vs. MJ Jenkins, and Xia Li vs. Jessi Kamea.

Candice LeRae, Mia Yim, and Rhea Ripley took on Jessamyn Duke, Marina Shafir, and Dakota Kai. Meanwhile, the head of the Horsewomen, Shayna Baszler, defended the NXT Women’s Championship against Reina Gonzalez in the main event.

We can’t wait to see Shotzi Blackheart make her network television debut with NXT. It will be fun to see how much of her gimmick she retains as a member of the WWE roster.

Until then, be sure to check back with will Bell to Belles for more updates on NXT’s women’s division.
