AAW just announced the first few matches for their next event, The Windy City Classic XV. On the card, Kris Statlander will challenge Jessicka Havok for the AAW Women’s Championship for a second time.
Havok, the first AAW Women’s Champion, regained the title from Kylie Rae in March at Hell Hath No Fury to become the first-ever two-time champion. Since she has successfully defended the title against Thunder Rosa, Priscilla Kelly, Taya Valkyrie, and Hawlee Cromwell.
In October, Havok offered the recent AEW signee, Kris Statlander, a title shot after they teamed up at Defining Moment. Last weekend, the two faced off in the main event of Unstoppable 2019.
In the end, Havok retained the title but the two continued to brawl after the match was over. Security and officials had to come out and separate them. Afterward, the champion made it clear this was far from over.
So, it looks like their feud will continue at AAW’s last show of the year, where Statlander will receive her rematch. If it’s anything like their last match, this will be a must-see event.
The Windy City Classic XV will take place on Saturday, Dec. 28 in Merrionette Park, IL.
