Aubrey Edwards recently announced she will take on a new out-of-ring position with AEW as a Project Coordinator.

AEW’s first female referee took to Twitter to express excitement about the new job and a project they currently have in the works. Afterward, Cody congratulated her on the additional responsibilities and complimented her on her professionalism.

In August, Edwards officiated the first-ever AEW World Heavyweight Championship match in the main event of All Out. The next day, the company signed her to a full-time contract.

The fact that they gave Aubrey Edwards another opportunity in this new out-of-ring position speaks to how much they trust her. It’s unclear what the job entails. Still, it’s good to see another woman get a chance to influence AEW both inside and outside of the ring.
