After a hot backstage segment, WWE revealed The Kabuki Warriors will defend the Women’s Tag Team Championship against Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch in a TLC match this Sunday.
Earlier tonight, Flair tried to convince the Raw Women’s Champion to put their differences aside and challenge their common enemies, Asuka and Kairi Sane. Instead, “The Man” took them on in a handicap match like Charlotte did last week.
Lynch held her own for most of the match as the champions used underhanded tactics to stay alive. Eventually, she won via disqualification when Asuka struck her with a chair.
After the bell, The Kabuki Warriors set Lynch up on a table and Sane hit her with a thunderous Insane Elbow. Afterward, Flair visited her backstage to encourage her again. As she left the room, Asuka and Kairi attacked her from behind and laid her out with a chair.
Later, they challenged Flair and Lynch to challenge them for their titles at TLC. This was enough to convince “The Man” to team up with her rival, accept their challenge and up the ante, making it a TLC match.
