Dana Brooke recently spoke to Justin Barrasso at Sports Illustrated, where she revealed to him that WWE has signed her to a new five-year contract.
Brooke came to WWE in 2013 when she signed to a developmental deal. She has worked in various roles for the company including a “statistician ” for Titus Worldwide.
Dana is excited for the future and she had this to say about her new contract.
“I just signed a new five-year deal in WWE, and part of my goal is to build my own personal brand. And women empowerment is a key in the success of my career and a key for WWE. “
“We can do what the male wrestlers have done over the years, and now women are finally being given that chance. That also means that I get the chance to show what I can do, and I really believe that 2020 is going to be the year that people see a different side of me. “
WWE hasn’t used Brooke much in the past couple of years, other than as a mainstay on Main Event. Hopefully, things are about to change. She was part of Team SmackDown at Survivor Series and recently faced Bayley on the Dec. 13 episode of SmackDown.
