WWE has their first entrant for a 2020 Royal Rumble match.
During Monday’s episode of RAW, Charlotte Flair announced she would enter the women’s 2020 Royal Rumble match. She’s the first Superstar, male or female, to announce her entry.
Flair aired out her grievances during the announcement, stating that it wasn’t a surprise to her she was entering the women’s Royal Rumble match, much like it wasn’t a surprise to the WWE Universe. The announcement follows the very public disdain by Flair and her father regarding her status and use within WWE.
Flair was the last to be eliminated in the 2019 Royal Rumble, eliminated by Becky Lynch, who entered the Royal Rumble for an injured Lana.
The Royal Rumble will air live from Minute Maid Park in Houston on Jan. 26.
