Saturday night, Priscilla Kelly was crowned F1RST Wrestling Uptown VFW Champion at WRESTLEPALOOZA XVII. She is the first female champion in the promotion’s history.
F1RST Wrestling is a Minnesota based independent wrestling promotion, founded in 2007. WRESTLEPALOOZA XVI was a two-night event that took place this weekend at First Avenue in downtown Minneapolis.
On the first night, Kelly defeated Jordynne Grace, in what many fans considered the best match on the card, via submission.
On the second night, “Hell’s Favorite Harlot” competed in a fatal four-way title match. The bout also featured Orange Cassidy, Arik Cannon, and two-time Uptown VPN Champion—Darin Corbin.
In a stunning finish, Kelly rolled up Corbin to win and become the first woman to hold the Uptown VPN Championship. As noted, Priscilla Kelly is also the first female F1RST Wrestling champion.
After the match, Kelly used her champion’s privilege to make the promotion’s next event an all women’s show. Advertisement for the show features Kimber Lee, Jordynne Grace, Jessicka Havok, and Shazza McKenzie.
This F1RST Wrestling event will take place on Apr. 9 at James Ballentine “Uptown” VFW – Post 246 in Minneapolis, MN. Tickets are available here.
