Heavy Metal Wrestling pulls Tessa Blanchard from show

Earlier, Heavy Metal Wrestling announced via their twitter account that they have pulled Tessa Blanchard from their upcoming event.

Heavy Metal Wrestling is an independent promotion based out of Texas. Blanchard was booked to wrestle on Jan. 24 in San Antonio where she was to square off against ROK-C.

Just yesterday, multiple allegations of racism and bullying surfaced about Tessa. Many women in the industry including Allysin Kay, Chelsea Green, Isla Dawn, and La Rosa Negra chimed in to reveal they’ve had poor experiences with Blanchard.

Heavy Metal Wrestling has said, “We take these allegations levied against her very seriously.”

This is the first, and may not be the last, company to avoid a connection with Tessa Blanchard. The entire situation is a bad look for the third generation star, who could potentially make history tonight as she faces Sami Callihan for the IMPACT World Championship.

Do you think more promotions will act on the accusations surrounding Tessa Blanchard?
