At STARDOM’s 9th Anniversary show, Bea Priestley and Jamie Hayter beat Tokyo Cyber Squad to win the Goddess of Stardom Championship.
STARDOM’s first big show of the year at Korakuen Hall was full of surprises. The Joshi promotion crowned new champions and saw new alliances built.
On Sunday, Bea Priestley and Jamie Hayter challenged Jungle Kyona and Konami for the Goddess of Stardom Championship. Ultimately, they defeated the champions when Priestley hit Konami with the Queen’s Landing.
The win made Priestley and Hayter the first-ever gaijin team to hold the titles. Hailey Hatred and “Alpha Female” Jazzy Gabert were also foreigners who held the Goddess of Stardom Championship, but they won them separately.
The night didn’t end there for Priestley. Momo Watanabe unsuccessfully challenged Mayu Iwatani for the World of Stardom Championship in the main event. Afterward, the “Top Gaijin” came out to comfort her.
Then, Priestley attacked Watanabe, turning her back on Queen’s Quest. It turns out she and Hayter have joined their rivals, Oedo Tai.
With Kagetsu leaving the unit next month, Bea Priestley and Jamie Hayter brought the Goddess of Stardom titles back to the unit. Priestley also challenged Arisa Hoshiki for the Wonder of Stardom title.
