At STARDOM’s 9th Anniversary show, Japanese wrestler and mixed martial artist, Syuri, returned to join Giulia as the third member of her team.
Last week, Giulia recruited Maika at a Just Tap Out show. On Sunday, Syuri made her return to STARDOM to complete the trio in their six-woman tag match against Hana Kimura, Death Yama-san, and Leyla Hirsch.
Syuri hasn’t worked with STARDOM since 2014. The 13-year veteran has been a freelancer, appearing for JWP, Ice Ribbon, Sendai Girls and many smaller Joshi promotions.
In 2016, she started a career in mixed martial arts. Syuri debuted for the Japanese MMA promotion, Pancrase. In September of 2017, she had her first fight with UFC.
Giulia’s new unit, Donna del Mondo, won their first match together after she nailed Hirsch with a Tombstone Piledriver.
It was a rough night for Tokyo Cyber Squad. They also lost the Goddess of Stardom titles to Bea Priestley and Jamie Hayter.
Now, Donna del Mondo has their eyes set on the Artist of Stardom Championship. The titles are currently held by Queen’s Quest—AZM, Momo Watanabe, and Utami Hayashishita.
