Irish independent wrestler Valkryie has signed with WWE and it appears she will wrestle for NXT UK. She made her debut at the NXT UK tapings in York, which took place this past weekend under the moniker Aoife Valkyrie
During the two television taping, Valkyrie wrestled Isla Dawn and Amale. The details of her contract are still unknown, but this is a big signing for both the company and Valkryie. She was one of 18 talents that took part in a WWE tryout in London this past summer.
The Irish wrestler made her debut in 2015 and has made quite a name for herself during her short tenure in the ring.
She has wrestled for EVE as one half of the tag team, The Woke Queens. Valkyrie also worked with GWF and OTT, to name a few. She is a former OTT Women’s Champion.
Valkyrie is a graduate of the Fight Factory Pro Wrestling School, which is the same school where Becky Lynch trained. In 2018, she made history when she became the first woman to hold the Irish Junior Heavyweight Championship for FFPW.
