Karen Q took to Twitter to reveal that she will undergo another surgery to repair her broken leg. This is unfortunate news for the young talent, who has been on the injured list since this past summer and is currently 27 weeks post-op.
Karen broke her leg during a tag team match at an NXT live event on July 27. She had surgery the next day and began doing light cardio over the summer. The five-year veteran remains positive regardless of this huge setback.
“Today will be 27 weeks post surgery. Tomorrow, I’ll be going under the knife again. Some may see this as a setback, but I see it as an opportunity to heal properly, mentally and physically, so that I will be unstoppable in the ring.”
Karen signed a developmental contract with WWE in February of 2019 after she competed in the 2018 Mae Young Classic. Prior to WWE, she wrestled for Ring of Honor, Impact, and RISE, to name a few.
The staff at Bell to Belles wishes Karen a successful surgery and looks forward to her return to the ring.
