Next month, Kylie Rae will challenge Big Swole for the Phoenix of RISE Championship in the main event of RISE Legendary 2020.
RISE made the announcement earlier today but this match has been in the making since La Escalera. At their last event of 2019, Kylie Rae returned to RISE to win La Escalera al Campeonato. In the process, she earned a shot at the Phoenix of RISE Championship.
This will pit her against the current champion, Big Swole, who successfully defended her title against Laynie Luck at the event. Incidentally, Rae won the title last year at Legendary after an amazing No Ropes Submission Match with Mercedes Martinez.
Kylie held the belt for less than a day as her longtime friend, Miranda Alize, betrayed her afterward. Then, Zoe Lucas used the opportunity to cash in her title shot and become the new champion.
At the time, this was supposed to be Rae’s last match with the promotion. Now that she’s back, this is her chance for redemption.
The promotions will also hold a Tag Team Rumble to determine the number one contender for The Guardians of RISE Championship. The Killer Death Machines will defend the tag titles against the winner on the same card.
