Last night in Fort Pierce, Florida, Taynara Conti made her return to action.
Earlier this month, a report circulated that Conti had walked out of NXT amid rumored disagreements about her compensation.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com reported that she refused to work the number one contender’s battle royal, which took place in January. Afterward, she left Full Sail Live and even cleaned out her locker. Whether or not the stories were true is unknown, but regardless, she is back.
Conti returned to team up with MJ Jenkins and Jessi Kamea against the team of Aoife Valkyrie, Mia Yim, and Rita Reis. Her abrupt return wasn’t the only reason for heads to turn. She came down to the ring wearing a shirt that said: “RELEASED.” Later, she posted a photo on her social media wearing a handcuff on one wrist.
Taynara Conti is a very talented and athletic member of the NXT roster. Hopefully, any negotiations between the two parties have been resolved.
