Angelina Love is the latest addition to Ring of Honor’s tournament to crown the first ROH Women’s World Champion.
ROH announced the 16-woman tournament two weeks ago, which will start at Quest For Gold. The company’s first women’s world title will replace the Women of Honor Championship.
Love will join the inaugural WOH Champion, Sumie Sakai, and Kellyanne, who signed on to compete earlier this week.
The Australian wrestler is a Storm Wrestling Academy alum with 11 years of experience. So, Kellyanne will make a strong addition to the fray along with two decorated champions.
According to ROH:
No one in Ring of Honor — male or female — has won as many singles world championships as Angelina Love. That automatically makes her one of the favorites to win the ROH Women’s World Title tournament.
Love, who came to ROH nearly a year ago as a six-time former world champion, went on to win the Women of Honor World Title, and now she’s looking for world title No. 8. She’ll get her opportunity as one of 16 competitors in the tournament, which kicks off with eight first-round matches at Quest For Gold in Philadelphia on April 24.”
This weekend, Angelina Love will face Nicole Savoy at ROH Bound by Glory. In addition, she will take on the recent signee, Session Moth Martina, at Gateway to Glory on Saturday.
The ROH Women’s World Title Tournament kicks off at Quest For Gold on Apr. 24 in Philadelphia, PA at the 2300 Arena.
