RISE and Freelance Wrestling announced the first match for their upcoming show. In June, the Freelance World Champion, Kylie Rae, will take on Cassandro el Exótico at Pride & Joy.
Last month, RISE announced Pride & Joy would return as a cross-promotional event. At the first show, Cassandro el Exótico defeated Mercedes Martinez in the main event.
This year, he will face Kylie Rae. The hometown favorite has been working with Freelance Wrestling again since she returned to indie wrestling in September.
Over the last few months, Rae has appeared at big independent shows all over the country. She defeated Ethan Page in two out of three falls match to become a two-time Freelance World Champion at War is Inevitable in December.
At Legendary – A CHARMING FINALE, she will challenge Big Swole for the Phoenix of RISE Championship. Legendary will be the Chicago-based promotion last live event.
Fortunately, they still plan to collaborate with Freelance to host Pride & Joy, which will coincide with the Chicago Pride Parade for the second year.
Pride & Joy will take place on Sunday, June 28 at Logan Square Auditorium in Chicago, IL.
Be sure to check back with Bell to Belles for more updates to the card as they become available.
