Unfortunately, Dana Brooke will not take part in the SmackDown Women’s Championship match set for WrestleMania 36.
As we reported last weekend, Paige revealed that Bayley will defend her title in a Six-Pack Challenge. Brooke was originally one of the five challengers. However, WWE removed the announcement for the match on WWE.com and she is no longer in the newest graphic.

The company hasn’t made an official update on the change but Brooke is reportedly sick. According to Dave Meltzer, she entered quarantine as a precaution. It’s unclear if she has exhibited any coronavirus symptoms.
This means the upcoming title match will be a fatal five-way elimination match featuring Sasha Banks, Tamina, Naomi, and Lacey Evans.
This is sad news for Dana Brooke, who has never competed in a big match at WrestleMania. For the last two years, she has participated in the Women’s Battle Royal on the kickoff show.
Hopefully, she will receive more opportunities in the future but her health and the well-being of her peers are more important. Brooke has been active online within the last 24 hours but she hasn’t confirmed her status yet.
