Amidst uncertainty caused by COVID-19, RISE was forced to postpose LEGENDARY – A CHARMING FINALE.
The event was scheduled to take place today, Mar. 27. However, the promotion’s owner, Kevin Harvey, announced that they hope to host the event on Friday, Oct. 23.
Hopefully, the show will go on as originally planned. As such, RISE will honor all tickets sold for the previous date. They will also issue refunds to those who may need them.
RISE LEGENDARY will be the Chicago-based promotion’s last live event. On the card, Big Swole will defend the Phoenix of RISE Championship against Kylie Rae.
Unfortunately, RISE wasn’t able to go out on a high note tonight, but there’s still a chance to celebrate the legacy they’ve created later this year. It’s hard to predict how long this pandemic crisis will last but that’s something to look forward to for now.
In the meantime, fans can still check out RISE’s free catalog of matches on their YouTube channel. Last year, they added their entire first year of live events on the channel, so there is plenty for women’s wrestling fans to enjoy.
