Dana Brooke joins the Women’s Money in the Bank match

Friday, Dana Brooke upset Naomi to qualify for a spot in the 2020 Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

On Monday, WWE held the first three qualification matches. At the end of the night, Asuka, Shayna Baszler, and Nia Jax earned their spots in the ladder match.

On SmackDown, Brooke and Naomi got their chance to join them. After a competitive match, Dana surprised her opponent to win and qualify for the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

This is a big opportunity for Dana Brooke, who missed her chance to compete at WrestleMania earlier this month. Brooke was reportedly sick. So, it’s safe to assume WWE pulled her from the card just to be on the safe side with the present risk of COVID-19.

Nevertheless, she will compete for a chance to challenge for the women’s championship of her choice. Interestingly, she recently formed a tag team with a former Money in the Bank winner, Carmella.

Next week, she and Carmella will challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. In addition, Sasha Banks will face Lacey Evans in a qualification match.
