Kimber Lee makes official IMPACT Wrestling debut

It looks like Kimber Lee is ready to make an IMPACT.

“The Crown Jewel” made her first appearance on Tuesday’s new episode of IMPACT Wrestling, which was reportedly pre-taped last month in Nashville on a closed-set.

Kimber Lee’s debut came in the form of a cameo appearance during Madison Rayne’s backstage segment called “Locker Room Talk.” Rayne invited Lee to the set while interviewing Johnny Swinger and Havok.

Lee is the second woman to confront Havok recently. As noted, Nevaeh debuted last week during the Full Metal Mayhem match at Rebellion Night Two. Kimber Lee and Havok have plenty of history on the independent scene with at least five singles matches together on record. They teamed up for the first time in January at an AAW event.

Kimber Lee’s arrival in IMPACT has been anticipated for some time after nearly a decade of being an in-ring competitor. Fans may remember her brief stint in WWE NXT where she competed as Abbey Laith in the inaugural Mae Young Classic. She was released in March 2018 after being used sparingly.

After her WWE departure, Lee returned to the independent scene to compete for promotions such as SHINE, SHIMMER, RISE, AAW, and several others. She is the reigning SHIMMER Champion.

Kimber Lee is the real-life fianceé of current IMPACT star Zachary Wentz. So, it makes sense that the two would work together for the same company. It remains to be seen if Lee has signed a contract, or if this is simply a trial run during the pandemic.
